Twttrstrm – “Crownversation” In Action
Twitter is a fantastic resource for people interacting with each other all across the globe on every subject you can imagine.
It can also be one of the biggest time drains and confusing social media platforms out there, particularly if you have hundreds or thousands of followers.
There is the constant tweeting going on as you log in to your home page and then you can have direct messages and replies to deal with. Disjointed conversations interleaved and almost guaranteed to confuse you.
Well, today marks perhaps the start of putting manners on Twitter.
Squidoo have launched a new service called Twtterstrm.
“Crownversation”
This new service facilitates what I call “Crownversation” – a contraction of crowd and conversation.
All you need do is fill in a form on Twttrstrm, this will tweet your question and create a Squidoo lens for you to host the crownversation. You can customise your lens with pretty much whatever you want.
In one place you get to organise a conversation amongst your followers – getting to grips with at least one part of the tweet overwhelm/overload nightmare you may currently face.
With this crownversation tool, you can pose a question on a Squidoo lens
Kudos to Jane where I found out about this first (I missed it on Twitter – modicum of irony there)
All the best,
Tom
