Save A Child’s Life Twitter & Blogging Marathon For Charity – The #tweelogathon

tweelogathonThis Friday the 4th of September 2009 at 0900, I shall be kicking off a fundraising event with a difference.

As many of you may be aware, I recently had the pleasure of interviewing Dr Mani in the inaugural series of free webinars with Make A Difference marketers from around the world. Dr Mani also has launched a new book called Think, Write and Retire and he is giving 100% of all book sales to the Dr Mani Childrens Heart Foundation.

I have had a chat with Dr Mani to see how I could help out and now you’re looking at the brainchild – the #tweelogathon.

If you’re wondering why it has a preceeding # (hash or pound sign to some people), this is because it is a hashtag – a way for people on Twitter to classify what they are talking about (some people love them, others loathe them).

On the day itself, every blog post and tweet I create will be tagged with the #tweelogathon hashtag to raise awareness.

Your Help – Get The Book And The Bonuses

So what can you do?

Well, first of all you can get yourself a copy of Dr Mani’s book:

There is a great collection of bonuses on offer. I have also chatted with Dr Mani and he tells me everyone who buys the book will also get a copy of the Tipping The Point Business In A Box viral marketing handbook (which has a great collection of bonuses in it’s own right) You can find out more about Tippping The Point here:

But remember – don’t buy it there, you’ll get it free with a copy of the book Think, Write and Retire.

Create a post about the #Tweelogathon to help raise awareness

What Will I tweet and blog about?

That’s a good question and if the truth be told, I have no clue. I will talk about everything and anything and will use my Twitter account @JointWinWin, and 3 other blogs to focus on as well:

In addition, I will add posts to other Web2.0 properties such as Squidoo and Hubpages.
Remember to tweet me on the day itself to give me ideas as to what to talk about.

So there you have it, come Saturday the 5th i’ll be a tired bunny but with your help, encouragement and assistance I’m sure I’ll be a happy bunny too.

All the best,

Tom

Tom, give me a DM reminder Friday morning your time and I’ll tweet it on Friday. I already have the book (I blurbed it).
